I don't like to admit it, but I could never figure out how to get my hair to do that thing in the 80s. Maybe it doesn't have a specific name, like The Rachel (90s), but you might remember it for its description: bangs up to here, "wings" on either side out to there; not the big metal hair that was teased out all over. I think the look required a blow dryer and a carefully timed spritz of hairspray – I saw it done once. And I tried it myself a couple of times, but something about my hair, maybe the fineness, and the hairspray combined...the horror. I think if BB had been around back then I would have taken some tips from her.
