I absolutely dread having to go through the girls' clothes: pull out the small items, replacing them with clothes that actually fit, organizing the lot for the future. (It doesn't seem so bad once it's done though.) I routinely delay this task until they're literally down to four or five wearable items, which is not so bad for laundering purposes. But these last couple of days have been a shock what with what's left of Hurricane Gustav blowing through bringing the temps down to jacket weather. I had to scramble, in particular, for something warm for Z, and ended up tucking her in with a thick blanket in the car just to be sure. I guess I'm ready, in part, for winter.
