I've had some years to contemplate the matter and, hands down, my favorite patch of baby fat is at the back of the neck, the nape. Unfortunately, it's not present in its peak form for long, when they start becoming mobile: rolling over, crawling, toddling. Z's is prime right now, although I suspect it's still got at least another month to mature to its fullest. Runners up, not necessarily in this particular order, include, but are not limited to, the multitude of rolls on the inner thigh; the less numerous rolls on the underside of the arms; the double chin; the fine blanket over the collar bone and upper chest; and of course the cheeks.
