Whenever we return home from a trip, we have to turn on every light in the house, whether there's daylight outside or not. There's the obligatory check of every room, but then the lights just stay on, like a warm welcome. Such was the case when we returned home this evening: the lights came on as we aired out all the rooms, and were turned off after the car had been completely unloaded and we'd had a small dinner.

Last night in St Louis, I announced to the girls over dinner that we'd be returning to KC today, how would they like that. Neither G nor BB liked that at all! :)
