Holiday Inn Memphis – Wolfchase Galleria
The first day out, we stopped at a McDonalds;
picked up donuts at Paul's in St Louis;
and made a slight detour to see Ste Genevieve, supposedly the oldest European settlement west of the Mississippi,
where we saw a ferry still in operation,
a marker for showing the history of floods in Ste Genevieve,
and this beautiful church at the center of town, which is unlike a lot of small Midwest towns in that city hall is usually at the center.
We arrived into Memphis kind of late, so after we admired the newly remodeled accommodations, we turned in. In the morning, we took the girls down to have a go at the pool, which was beautifully lit with lots of windows. It ranks #2 on my list.
