Because of the location of the new house, not only did we anticipate, but it also quickly became apparent that we needed a second vehicle for Drew to get to and from work – instead of his office being on the way to school (on Tuesdays and Thursdays), it's in another almost-opposite direction, which makes it hard on we're-running-late days. So he searched Craigslist for a couple weeks, but there wasn't anything available that was what you would call appealing. We looked at everything from sporty little Triumphs, which his brother drove back in the day, i.e. nostalgia factor, to Ford pickups to old school Landcruisers to Volvos to Honda Civics. And after everything was said and done, he drove home a certified pre-owned 5-speed Toyota Yaris from the same dealership that sold us the Sienna. (And the girls got balloons.)
Now he can concentrate on passing his class.
