Though we're not Dave Ramsey-ers, I was inspired by these "envelopes" to make my own groceries money pouch. Unfortunately, I didn't get a second opinion on zippers until I was almost finished: my first successful zipper. For one thing, I didn't know my fabric width was supposed to be the same as the zipper's and I cut it too short, and since my machine can't handle more than a couple layers of bulk, i.e. not an entire zipper, I had to modify the directions a bit and do some handstitching in order to complete this.
