I've decided that in her strange way BB's other family is a coping mechanism for middle child syndrome.

BB: AhPoh, can I play with the Polly Pockets?
AhPoh: Not right now.
BB: My other mother lets me play with Polly Pockets whenever I want.
AhPoh: Then why don't you go over to their house [right now] to play with them?
BB: Because I can't drive!
