We finally got around to dyeing the silks that BB received for her birthday. Though I was totally freaked out about getting the dye on other things, it was not as bad as I feared, and the results were pretty impressive, although I could have wished for a more vibrant purple. (I wonder that the color got muddied a bit by the green.) Certainly, I learned a few things for next time because, oh yes, there will be a next time: I'm already contemplating another set of silks for G's birthday next month.
