"Alaskans for Global Warming"

Keeping in mind that Alaskans are a funny set, it's no wonder that they would go in for global warming. Though you'll only ever see a handful of the bumper stickers on cars around town, it's quite a beloved topic. And after what the weather's been these last couple of days, i.e. bitterly cold, I can see why. There are the few that don't believe global warming exists, but a lot of the rest believe it does and welcome it heartily. Because, as they argue, it can only improve things here. They could grow their own crops in the Valley (i.e. weather improvement), become totally self-sufficient, and with oil being $100+ a barrel, sell it to the rest of the United States and everyone will get rich (via the PFD).
