Sopping Wet

A beautiful day yesterday, positively spring-like with near-60s and not a cloud in the sky, perfect for melting snow. The girls went out once in the morning before the melt really began, and then again in the afternoon when it was good and messy out. I warned them about playing in the sand table, a ready-made mud puddle, but that turned out to be the most fun.

Both their gloves were soaked through entirely, and their snow pants weren't much better in places not covered by their coats, which were caked in wet sand; and G even dipped her head in the water at one point. Probably their only dry parts were their feet.
