Over the weekend, one of our guests for the afternoon, a little girl of about six years, wanted to take our Rody home. She was maybe a bit too big for the thing, but she took a real shining to it, took to hiding it from the other kids, who were probably more interested in playing outside anyway. At one point, she had lifted the Rody to clear the exersaucer that was in the middle of the living room, and I got a good look at the ugliness on the underside: carpet is nasty business.
Not too long ago, maybe a couple weeks back, BB figured out how to ride the Rody properly, rather than that weird bobble-heading business she used to do, after I prompted her to hold (continuously) on to the ears. Even Z likes her fair share of Rody time these days: bouncing brings a bigger smile than rocking.
