I played with these same dolls when I was a kid. Not much has changed.

1) The perforation is still pretty shoddy so that you end up either ripping the small, semi-important parts like the tabs that keep the outfits on; or using scissors. In the latter, I'm not so concerned now with cutting to perfection, which definitely saves time when you're impatient to start trying on all those clothes.

2) The disappointment at finding that the dolls that come with the book are nothing like the ones on the cover.
3) The dresses, though still pretty to my older eye, remain in the 70s style, which I find kind of funny. I would have thought that by now I'd be looking at 80s or even 90s style get-ups.
At least they're still good for about half an hour's worth of silence at a time.
