Cousin Emmy

Er YeePoh and her daughter-in-law Emmy were here to visit with us – Er YieYie stopped in later –, bringing these awesome biscuits/cookies with macadamia nuts. Mine was caramel coffee flavored, see the little coffee bean? Don't know what else flavors there were, but I have no doubt they were equally tasty.

We had Domino's for lunch, again with the seafood, but this time with a side of chicken strips, BBQ wings, bread sticks, and soda.

The last time I saw my cousin Wei-Lun and Emmy, she'd recently given birth to their oldest Jonah, who's now eight. (They have another son Solomon, who's four.) They were in Hsinchu visiting both sets of grandparents and for her work, which is also what brought her to Taiwan this time. We spent a nice afternoon catching up, the girls really enjoyed playing with Aunt Emmy. We might get to see her again before she heads back to the States on Tuesday.

This is how much M likes to eat, in this case, finishing off her third bowl of soupy rice.
