G (slightly exasperated): Do you know what patience is? (Or "What is it to be patient?", depending on the translation, like she was asking a rhetorical or philosophical question.)
BB: I don't know.
Though my back was turned, I could very well imagine them looking each other in the eye, questioningly, and then going back to their business (without another word).
