I forget what day ago it was that it snowed (more), but we had a chance over the three-day weekend to get out and enjoy some of the freshly fallen stuff. We bundled BB up in this adorable snow suit that G had when she was about this age and sat her out in it. One touch and she was a "nay". Poor thing probably never realized there was something in this world so cold. Needless to say, her first encounter was brief: about as long as it took to take some pictures.

G, on the other hand, is our snow eater. I remember last year I had a tough time keeping any kind of hand protection on her; this year gloves only prolonged the fun. And snow pants only added to the fun. From my perspective, it appears that she likes to sit in snow just to see what it looks like. But rather than have wet, cold pants, she's still dry! Isn't it the little discoveries that matter?
And Drew busted out his cross country skis out for their first run of the season. There was only about an inch or two of packed snow up the hill so unfortunately somewhere along the line he got a gash in one of his skis. He said it was a great run though.
