AhGong sent us a pasta maker: I HAD grand plans of making our own ravioli, but unless the dough was wrong (too wet?), I was frustrated with the simple process of flattening the dough to sheets, much less getting it to noodle stage. (I ended up hand rolling, which is not an easy process considering you want the dough to be as thin as possible, and cutting noodles with the pizza cutter. They cooked up really thick, like a chewier version of udon.)
The girls had fun running dough through the machine, later they used PlayDoh, which was less successful (and harder to clean off the machine).
