A Little Excitement

With Drew at a meeting last night, M somehow contrived to shove/inhale an impossibly large piece of styrofoam up her left nostril.

Just look at the size of that thing! I tried several times with the end of a bobby pin, but managed only to scratch off a couple nibs. I considered leaving it in there the night, but then M would complain that it burned and start to get hysterical. I briefly contemplated packing all the kids into the car and going to Urgent Care, but decided it might be best to wait until Drew got home.

In the meantime, BB found our tweezers, and on the second try, the styrofoam came out! Mulling over whether we should take her to an ENT to get checked out for any smaller pieces I might have missed or that got sucked further on back.
