Migration

I noticed this afternoon that there are no longer any hummingbirds at the feeder. I watched a long time to be sure. They've been known to stay in our part of Missouri until almost mid-October, but this has been a rather cool year, I'm surprised they stayed as long as they did. The feeder seems so desolate, I'm sad to see them go, so I refilled it anyway just in case. Maybe we'll get a feeder for the other types of birds for the winter.
