Only a Matter of Hours

Check the time: it's 1238 AM. (Are your taxes done?) The movers will be here between 9 and 10 to begin the packing process. They gave us a confirmation call this afternoon. Three people and they should be done by noon! It's kind of absurd, but I suppose that leaves us more time to clean. Among other things, Drew's going to shampoo the carpets so in the afternoon, I'll take the girls to stay with friends – and we'll leave from there for the airport Wednesday evening. (Tomorrow will be my last look at the ol' apt.) I know Drew feels the same way: we won't be able to appreciate the leaving until we're sitting on the plane. Now I better go to bed. I'm sure the girls will be up when it gets light out – at about 630 AM.
