Girls' art class (teacher Sylvia is wearing white visor) had a picnic and nature walk at Cave Springs. I have driven passed this place for years and never been in. After lunch, had to make a detour to Sylvia's house, which backs the park, to use the restroom.
Visited 3 Eagles Landing, built by a father and two sons as Boy Scouts project, to make some rubbings.
Said cave from which they believe people on the Santa Fe Trail watered their horses. Sylvia says the cave goes back some 35 feet in one direction, and another 100 some feet as crawl space in another direction. All the kids really wanted to go farther in exploring, but it was so dark.
A potato print mural they made last week.
