For Safe Keeping

This was true several months ago – I penned it in August:

These days, when Z gets up from a nap, more often than not, she'll take her pacifier out and put it on her pillow. For one thing, she's not throwing it on the floor anymore, leaving the rest of us to search for it; and it's like a little bedtime mint at night.

Sadly, she tends to "collect" them on the floor between the crib and the wall now.
