When we first bought this (second-hand) for X, it made light saber noises; when it finally came out for his birthday, no more noises (I secretly said a "hallelujah"). But then G was practicing her light saber throwing and dropped it from such a height I thought, It must be broken. Lo, light sabers are made of sterner stuff: not only was it unharmed, the sound is back and now qualifies it as one of the most popular (read: fought over) toys in the house.
