The Ernie Miller Adventure

In anticipation of Drew going back to work this week, we had a grand day out earlier in the week.

We visited the Moon Marble Company, which sells unique handmade marbles (getting ready to watch the marble-making demonstration, above) and a plethora of manufactured marbles and nostalgic games.

Lunch at the New York Dawg Pound, I had the Ol' Blue, the BBQ sauce, onion straws, and pickle together were an excellent combo; Drew had the Bulldawg; and the girls all had corny dawgs.

Then we had chocolates at Annedore's, some of the girls got their mice-shaped chocolate.

For the rest of the afternoon, we wandered around Ernie Miller Park, getting muddy, falling in the creeks/streams, having a great time. Our first loop on the Bittersweet Trail (purple) was merely an appetizer; the second trail, the South Trail (red), was an excellent entree; but unfortunately we overstuffed ourselves by taking the Lower Ridge Trail (blue) on a third go, most of us were pretty tired by the time we stumbled back to the car. G and BB promptly announced that they wanted to return the following week.
