Service project with our homeschooling group last week: talent show for the elderly. (Did this two years ago – with a Valentine's theme.) M2 hung out with Sr Christine, who told me (in Chinese) that they have a house in Tamshui, Taiwan. Tried to get Z to recite Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, but she clammed up the second all those eyes were on her! G and BB both played three piano pieces each. Other students recited poetry, played the cello and violin, and Irish step danced.
Afterward the kids made spring tissue paper cards with the residents and had snacks. Great afternoon.
