J: Daddy wants to make five of them [bee boxes] because he wants to make them.

When J2 woke up this morning, Daddy was in the room, and she said, "Daddy, where Mama?" Immediately striking fear into Daddy's heart anticipating the next two days when I'm out of town.

New Rody on the Block

J murdered previous Rody (with a sharp pencil) and we used her money to buy a new one, brown. She's been very much enjoying her purchase since it arrived.

Carving balsa wood wasn't working so well, so down a step, carving bars of soap.

Third Pumpkin

Smaller than first two because we did battle with squash borers and weakened the plants. Hopefully plants can make a comeback to give us more pumpkins.

Notice the bigger gap on top, top front left came out today. It came super loose at lunch, but X wanted to wait until Daddy got home to yank it.

Wanting to see how long we can save this one, but X itching to carve and eat it in pie.
