About the only pictures I took while in Arkansas: the kids' favorite thing to do on our holiday was be in the canoes or kayaks, or fish, so I didn't see them very often during the days; M2 with her kindred spirit Maria.

Great Thanksgiving weekend in Arkansas, kids had an awesome time, G and BB both declared it to be their most favorite vacation ever!

This picture commemorates J climbing her first stair-step -- stuck on the second -- she's been contemplating those two stairs for a couple weeks now. Pretty soon she'll be unstoppable... Just yesterday she commando-ed from the girls' room all the way to my bathroom, the entire length of the house, unsupervised.

Eight

This girl gets around! Wounded commando style. She's vocal when she doesn't get her way and for an 8-mos old she's surprisingly vigilant about what's hers (or what she would like to be hers). At present there are five teeth in her mouth and she just loves eating what we're eating -- or thinks she should be. She wants so much to be like the big people around her, she tries to skip her naps... and is consequently often fussy or vigorously rubbing her eyes. This "bubby" is loved! She has at least three sisters willing to sit with her until she falls asleep, which never takes very long.
