G's first stop is Hsinchu, staying with San YeePoh, who lives in the same building as Er YeePoh (who regaled them with tasty treats). They did some window shopping in the afternoon (to ward off jetlag) and generally tried to stay awake.
Friend's sister took our rooster yesterday. He was making the hens' lives kind of miserable -- the Wyandottes have refused to come out of their coop for weeks now -- so we wanted to find him a new home sooner rather than later.
Friends raising quails, let us have half a dozen eggs, which doesn't amount to much, maybe one full chicken egg. Hard to crack too, the membrane is a lot thicker.
